Oral presentation in RNA forum

Dr. SHAO gave a talk in an RNA forum - “RNA Biology and Health” hosted by the School of Life Science, Peking University.
His oral presentation is titled as :”TagSeq applies chemical biology methods to identify and characterize noncanonical RNA caps”.
The presentation mainly showed the development of dpCoA tagSeq and NAD tagSeq methods for identifying noncanonically capped RNAs.

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2023 is awarded to the work on mRNA vaccine, which replaces uridine with pseudo-uridine in mRNA sequence, and it shows much milder immunue responses.
Recently, there are several crucial papers showing the roles RNA cappings play to mediate immune responses.
